Home Staging of a Living Room

Living Room Before Staging - Cluttered and Crowded

Living Room After Staging

In order to capture everyone's attention of the million dollar lake view, there needed to be a better flow leading to the window. Also, the beautiful rock fireplace needed to be brought to attention as usable vs. decorative.

The Solution: The fisherman endtable, rug & ottoman were lifted off the floor to create an open path to the sliding door. Decorative pieces were removed from fireplace to say, "look at me, I'm a usable, beautiful fireplace!"

Home Staging of a Kitchen

Great example of a heavily themed room that does not allow the viewers eye to see all the space and great lighting through the thick decor.

The Solution: All the counterspace knick-knacks were removed, as were items on the floor. By just keeping a few well-placed items, viewers are now able to imagine the possibilities of all the cooking space.

Limited space and an animal-themed dining area did not highlight this room's potential for viewers.

The Solution: The table & chairs were reduced to allow more floor space. A book shelf with animal-themed items was removed and replaced with a spare chair and neutral artwork. Set the table for two to invite viewers to sit and enjoy the very scenic view out of the windows.

Staging of a cluttered Den

The spare room / den was a barrier to sale for this house. The room was disorganized and the furniture layout awkward, and the bland vanilla walls did little to enhance the newer wood floors, large windows, painted wood shutters and new wall sconces.

The Solution: Excess supplies and furniture, including a file cabinet and a vintage lectern that was blocking a doorway, were removed from the room. The walls were painted a pale glass-blue, and the large, clunky desk was replaced with a smaller mahogany table that makes the room feel more spacious and creates a visual distinction between the furnishings and the floor.
